Prof. N.Ganesan, M.com., M.Phil., (Ph.D.) initiated K. Nadimuthu Memorial Educational Trust. Being an academic with vision, he determined to offer quality education to rural, socially and educationally backward student community. The K. Nadimuthu Memorial Educational Trust, as educationists and protagonists of several years of competent experience in academic administration they sponsoring the Bharath College of Education. The members of the trust have the relevant potentials and required talents to shape the proposed Institution as a best and serviceable institution.

The name and of style of the proposed institution for Teacher Education is Bharath College of Education. It has lofty goals and ideas to cater teacher education in the rural areas of Thanjavur, preparing youngsters and transform them as good and competent teacher and make them as best and constructive builders of the future builders of our Nation. The institute now has pleasant airy well-ventilated and well furnished Class rooms to accommodate the budding teachers to undergo the useful training. Well Experienced faculty and administrative staff are appointed. They render service with humane attitude taking care of the interest and welfare of the students. The library is well staked with Text Books, useful standard books, advanced books on Teacher Education and prescribed books. Besides, there are several books on all areas for general reading.

The library is housed in an airy and well ventilated hall, and equipped with a total number of more than 6500 books. The Institute has sound instructional facilities to train the students as best products. The Institute has spacious play grounds for the use of the students. Facilities are made and also being made for the students to play Volley ball, Foot-ball, Badminton, Track events etc.
